"Scream, Shout, Scream, Shout. We are the Fallen Angels We are the in between, cast down as sons of war. Struck to the earth like lightning, on this world we're torn. We won't cause the pain, of living out their law. Take joy in who you are, we know our wings are flawed. We're bored to death in heaven and all alone in hell, We only want to be ourselves. We scream, we shout We are the Fallen Angels We scream, we shout ohhh ohhh To those who sing alone No need to feel this sorrow We scream, we shout ohhh We are the Fallen Angels!"Her Voice carried over central park as she performed, She knew she wasnt typically used to perfoming in open Area's but screw it, what did she care. She screamed the lyrics to her song as the crowds roared for more. She gave it to them, She sung untill her voice was raw. When she had to leave, She slid out from behind stage, and sat on one of the benches, No one really came up to her. She felt her throat burn as she took a long sip of the water bottle next to her, she looked around as she smiled, actually laughing. The small performence she just made was actually to promote her next gig she was going to do. She yawned as she curled her legs into her chest as she looked around. She wasnt really used to being in public. However she had just come to this place recently. She had no clue how to get back to her hotel room. She yawned as she looked around once more. She was quite the paranoid person. She yawned once as she smiled to herself. Man, how good did it feel to be able to sing like that honestly. It was a rare treat. She still let herself look miserable. She was actually. Tired, her throat hurt and honestly she wanted to go home and sleep this groggy feeling off. She yawned once more as she shook out her shagged black hair, she ran her fingers through it.

[/center] [/size] [/size] All your life...[/font] YOU WERE ONLY WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO ARISE blackbird f l y [/center] Emma rarely received a moment to herself. To the contrary usually she was surrounded by people during the light of day and most evenings. These people included her father (for lack of a better word), her manager (for lack of a more grotesque word), other artists (some mighty famous ones at that), and then the highest regarded socialites or grungiest of fans who didn't understand the classical music she played. That was just fine and good for Emmy as she was fairly certain, if she hadn't originally used her skills as an escape, she wouldn't understand it either. In fact, in all honesty, she didn't understand it anymore.
Nowadays in her few moments alone she would seek solace in rock music (something that would get her a stern beating if her father ever heard). But it got the job done and provided her with life that she had felt she had been long missing even at the ripe old age of eight. It took her away to another place. The music of the Beatles, Bob Dylan. They were some of the only 'stable' people that she had come to know.
This past week she was being harbored at a famous New York City hotel with her father who was currently passed out in the bed after a drunken stupor. Emmy stole the moment to sneak downstairs, help herself to the kitchen (who were all too kind to help her), and then she journeyed outside onto the street. The hotel manager gave her an odd, worried look as she made her way through the glass revolving store but she assured him, rather professionally, that she had an attendant outside.. A lie... Something Emmy hated doing. But her feet eventually brought her to just outside of New York's best park and eventually it was the sound of music that brought her into it.
Her eyes widened with intrigue at the band on the stage in particular on the girl (was it a girl?) belting out the vocals. Or was it belting? She seemed to be yelling. Either way Emmy was horribly interested if not downright impressed by her gall. The wordsmithship of the lyrics was also something not to ignore and, in an oddly bold move for her, she weaved her tiny body through the small crowd and to the front of the makeshift stage.
"I like your hair." She spoke up quietly, not even sure if the lead singer heard her, a slight case of aspergers for sure. Emmy bit her thin bottom lip carefully, her big eyes looking up at the person. "And your song." Yes, this whole making friends and being cordial thing had always been difficult for her.

Nikki noticed the girl once her song ended, She smiled down to her as she sat down on the edge, people began to leave as she finished. She looked to the girl patting the stage, for her to sit if she liked to. Nikki was much much more friendly then most metal heads or hard rockers like her typically were. She smiled to the girl once more. "Thanks, I like the Piano concerts you do...Emmy Silvias right?" She asked as softly as she could. She looked down at her own form. She was in a black tank top, ripped. Black makeup on her face and arms, and black tight jeans, Combat boots pulled over the knees. She was quite the sight to look at. She definatly held the rebelious look to her. Nikki smiled as she finally realized the comment about her hair. "Thanks...Not many people enjoy my hair...They think it looks kinda Messy." she said with a light chuckle. The girl typically never did the social interactions. She was much more comfortable meeting a fan signing something then going along. She was 17 and never had a true friend other then her brother, which made it so very awkward for her. This little girl was probably the only shot at a friend she would get, so why not use it. She smiled as she looked over to her. " Yo...Im starved, Wanna go grab some lunch or something with this complete stranger ya just met?" Nikki asked with a samll laugh as she hopped off the stage, landing on one knee. It wasnt a long drop, but she was short and her legs were cramped. She offered her hand to the girl to help her off. She figured it would be polite as she gave a small smile to her. She was figuring she wanted some type of Japanese or Thai food. She looked to the kid. "..You like Japanese or Thai?" She asked as she smirked, it fit so nicley on her face, like a button to show exactly how she looked. Beautiful, Boyish and one creepy person to come your way. TAG: Emmy! [/center] [/size] [/size] All your life...[/font] YOU WERE ONLY WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO ARISE blackbird f l y [/center] "Yes ma'am. That's me." Emmy said quietly though deep down she was very tickled that this woman knew who she was. If anyone knew who she was when she wasn't playing she was thrilled especially if they knew her by name and not 'that little girl on that big instrument'. "No thank you." She declined politely as the woman patted the stage beside her. Though young Emmy was an intelligent girl, you had to grow up fast with the life that she was living, and she could put two and two together.
"But you can call me Emma please." She offered, or rather hoped. Emmy was a nickname that only certain people used and those people were few and far between. Deep down she was almost certain that even her father had once called her 'Emmy', for that reason alone, and the fact that she didn't know this woman, she wished to stick to 'Emma'. It was her name after all! And just a bit more formal.
"I think it's pretty." Emmy added with the most helpful, yet shy of tones. As people began to leave the park it was easy for them to brush right by the small girl. It was surprising that none of these light brushes, which would barely phase an adult, had knocked her over. Be that as it may she managed to hold her own using her little pale hands to brace herself on the edge as she stood there peering up at the woman. "I'm not allowed to get messy. I'd get in trouble. But messy looks nice on you." The blonde little girl wore a blue dress. Polite, respectful, exactly what was expected not at all like this lead singer. Hearing her comment about her hair Emmy felt compelled to interject and it took all of the might she could muster to haul her little body onto the stage. "It's what makes you different and that's what makes you special." Where had she heard that before? Certainly not from her parental figure.
At being asked to go for lunch Emmy's interest, and her shoulders, peaked. Even more easing was that this woman didn't even question what she was doing out on her own. Could life seem any easier? "Yes please!" She was hungry. There'd be no denying that. Now moving to the edge of the stage she warily eyed the young woman's hand before declaring softly: "No thank you." And took quite a long time to slide somewhat clumsily off the stage and to the ground.
Looking up at the woman Emmy raised a light brow. "I've never had either." She confessed before biting on her bottom lip and continuing: "But I've read about sushi. Can we try that?"

Nikki was impressed, the girl was very much so a do it yourself type of kid. She liked that as she nodded. "..Kay Emma it is then....Call me Nikki, Nick or Zack...Anything you like." she said as she gave the girl her typical names she was called. She didnt mind in the least as she did it all herself. She nodded as she let herself yawn. Her next words stopped her in her tracks. "..You'd get in trouble for being messy?.....huh..." She said but didnt press the issue any further. Nikki was very very big on Privacy. This girl didnt have to tell her anyhting. She smiled as she watched the girl crawl off the stage. She began to walk to a nice little corner restraunt. "Well Then...Today you'r gonna enjoy this...sushi is amazing.." She said as she opened the door for the girl being polite. she got them a table near the back and Ordered herself a glass of Lemon iced Tea, Beef Pad Thai, Shrimp Fried Rice, A Serving of Egg Rolls and a Sushi Platter, She looked to the girl motioning her to order for herself. Nikki didnt honestly care, she was gonna pay for the girls food, and she honestly though it would be a nice treat for the girl to relax a little bit. She seemed so grown up too soon. As their food arrived she smiled to the girl, picked up her chopsticks, instead of the optional fork and began to pick pieces of beef out of the Pad Thai, and systemartially trade between that, a piece of sushi, buite of egg roll , bite of rice, sip tea, repeat. She was a very very methodical eater. She liked to have a bit of everything at once. TAG: EMMY WORDS: ENOUGH MUSE: THE LEGACY

[/center] [/size] [/size] All your life...[/font] YOU WERE ONLY WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO ARISE blackbird f l y [/center] "Well which is your name? That's what I'll call you." Emma frowned as she studied the woman rather matter of factly. "If someone gave you three names they should at least have the courtesy to tell you which one you'll be called by. Or else it's just confusing!" Still her tone was slightly impatient and surprisingly insistent. Rarely was there ever an edge to her voice but in the company of this young woman, as wonderful as she seemed, Emma Silvias was horribly out of her own element and it made her nervous. It was a different kind of nervous than being cornered by her father in a rage but still quite uncomfortable for the time being.
Be that as it may it took very little convincing for Emmy to tag along with Nikki. She followed a few steps behind though surprisingly she managed to keep up all the way and to the eatery. "It's just raw fish. I don't understand why people eat it other than it takes less preparation." Emmy declared as she crossed her scrawny arms over her chest upon walking inside.
Sitting down at the table which dwarfed her small frame she became so wrapped up in the aura that was Nikki that she forgot that she had no money aside from the ten dollar bill she had been saving since she was four. Her father and manager handled all of her accounts and gave her little to nothing. The ten dollar bill had been secured and saved one day when no one was looking and she hadn't the guts to attempt the act ever again since.
"Why don't they just order Chinese take out like everybody else around here? It comes hot!" When cued to order Emma read remarkably well, she was an astute little thing, and ended up with a spicy salmon roll, a spicy tuna roll, and octupus sashimi. Quite a spread given her age and never having tried it before. Still she embraced the challenge eagerly when it arrived.
Instinctively she had reached for her fork but out of the corner of her eye spotted Nikki with her chopsticks. Eying her for a few moments she thought better of her own action and gingerly set the fork down in exchange for the wooden chopsticks. While the woman across from her made quick, skilled work of her own selection Emmy spent a good five minutes wrestling with both chopsticks before settling on 'the praying mantis method' which had her holding one chopstick in each tiny hand.
Finally managing to get a piece of sashimi into her mouth she scrunched up her face and chewed. Upon registering the taste her eyes lit up. "Yum!" She declared before repeating the action. She hadn't expected to enjoy the food so much given that she absolutely hated fried haddock and that should have been decent indication. After a few more moments of this, and of studying the lead singer, Emma then put both chopsticks in one hand and actually succeeded in using them! She was a quick study to say the least and lucky for her, her hands were trained.

She coudlnt help but laugh as the girl made her struggle witht he chosticks, and whats more when she actually tasted the bite of Sushi. She laughed as she smiled over to her. "So,,,Im guessing that you like it" She laughed as she kept eating and in no time really finished her meal, she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and yawned slightly taking a sip of the tea she had. She looked to the girl. Screw it, subtle conversation right? "So Tell me about yourself Emma...What do you like to do." She asked with a small laugh as she propped her elbows on the table to form a place to rest her chin on her hands. She wasnt much into manners as one could obviously state. She looked at the young girl before her tilting her head at her for the general question. OOC:...My Muse....It died.

[/center] [/size] [/size] All your life...[/font] YOU WERE ONLY WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO ARISE blackbird f l y [/center] "Yuh-huh." She gave an agreeable nod to Nikki. The sushi was actually very yummy and she found that she rather liked it. Not that it was like she would ever get to try it again. Her father often limited those type of excursions, if any, and when she did eat it was usually microwavable. A surprising lifestyle, or it would have been if anyone knew about it.
At the question inquiring about what she liked to do a serious frown spread across Emma's features. Not because she was sad but because she wasn't sure of the answer. Rarely did she ever get the opportunity to explore or like anything. In her life she only ever did what was instructed (or bullied). But how would she answer this woman's honest question?
"I play the piano. Lots." Fairly obvious. But hopefully it'd be enough. Just in case it wasn't: "Sometimes I'm allowed to go to the parties after and I get to meet lots of new people. That's nice." Most of the time. Other times she was left by herself in her temporary dressing room while her father went out to entertain with her manager schmoozing and boozing for what felt like, and probably was, hours and hours.
"What do you do for fun?" She asked, hoping to redirect the conversation and move it off of herself. Into the L I G H T of the dark black N I G H T [/i] Tag// NIKKI! Words// ENOUGH Ooc Name// CUETHELAUGH Notes// IT'S OK. IT HAPPENS. Credit// Lucie [/center]

Nikkin nodded slowly as she sipped at her tea, she smiled lightly and shook her head. "..Well Besides Piano what do you like to do?" she asked with an ever so slight smile, she was happy actually, this girl was much younger then her but she was a good conversation, very mature and soft spoken. Not like Nikki at all. She yawned slightly as she leaned back. She shrugged "I dont really do much outside of performing, I mean I write and draw, but honestly im kinda a loner, no friends at the moment. I sorta was a recluse through school and then it got to the point where I didnt talk to people, then the music skill came, Parents tried to use me for it, I divorced them." She shrugged as if it was no big dead. To her it was, the pain of having to do it still scarred her but she knew it was really for the best. She smiled as she shrugged. softly she looked at the little girl. She had a good Feeling that something was wrong with the whole family picture, She knew how kids that were exploited acted, way too mature. She hated parents that had the gull to do something like that. She coughed slightly into her first as she trained her eyes back to the child. ".So...Tell me about your dad?" She asked, she woudlnt outright ask about her suspicions, but she would definatly try to get a toipic going.

[/center] [/size] [/size] All your life...[/font] YOU WERE ONLY WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO ARISE blackbird f l y [/center] "Like?" Emmy parroted the word with yet another frown. It was a decent question. An honest question. Nikki wasn't meaning to stir up any unwelcomed emotions within the little girl and yet she found herself in a quandry. She had absolutely no idea what she liked to do. Once it had been piano but currently that was being widdled away into a chore and with her being knocked around by her father in between it almost made it the enemy that had helped to get her into this whole mess. Was there any answer that she could give to please the lead singer and, more importantly, herself?
"I don't know..." The piano prodigy admitted softly, looking down at her nearly empty plate. She apparently had quite a stomach on her but all food was forgotten when the harsh truth of her life came up to smack her in the face. Well this was a little dinner date done and ruined. And to think it was one of the few, if not the only, that she had experienced willingly!
The tale of Nikki divorcing her parents absolutely horrified little Emmy. Hell, her father beat her and she didn't even attempt to get rid of him. To be truthful, did she even want to? It was the sick twisted world of her mind that she lived in and it was all that she knew. Right or wrong either way she currently felt sick to her stomach and though horribly politely, she found herself sliding carefully down from her seat at the table and excusing herself.
"I'd like to go home how." Came the soft, yet very serious voice. And by home she meant the hotel and by like she of course meant 'she better or else'. There was no telling when her father would wake up and he'd probably be a lot less angry if she wasn't missing. His little punching bag always needed to be close by.
"Thank you for inviting me to dinner." Her words were genuine but her tone lacked any real conviction or volume. Fishing her hand into her pocket she began to search for her ten dollar bill. Her only bill she ever had in her possession. A treasure which she had kept secret from her own father out of fear of what the punishment would be. And she was going to spend it now.. On fish. Raw fish. Into the L I G H T of the dark black N I G H T [/i] Tag// NIKKI! Words// ENOUGH Ooc Name// CUETHELAUGH Notes// YAY FOR FIRST THREADS. Credit// Lucie [/center]

She knew she made a mistake when Emma got up. She regretted what she said quickly. Nikki stood up very fast from the table, she knocked her stomach into it and doubled over clutching her belly as she looked at the girl "HEY! Wait I wasnt EMMA, HELL ...... oh HELL!" She said as she kicked the chair over and threw some money on the table. She walked out of the restraunt. that little encounter had put her in a foul mood, Not because the girl left, but because Nikki knew she treaded too far and brought up something painful. She sighed as she pulled a cigarette from her pocket and lit it up taking a long deep drag of it, flicking the ask on the road and spitting the smoke out. She glared at the sun as she just went beck to her hotel, kicked her shoes off and screamed into a pillow. She screwed up and she was pissed off. She sighed as she stood up and got a can of soda from her fridge, the call came for her to go to rehersal. She stood up, pulled her shoes back on and Cursed the entiire way there. Her thoughts never really left the little girl and how bad she felt. Was it her fault, definatly should she have pushed, no not in the least. She did feel horrible though. She sighed as she did her rehersal and went back to her hotel with one thing on her mind and one thing alone. Sleep. She hit the pillow and knocked out as soon as she opened the door. She sighed wondering if she would ever see emma Again? Not in a creepy pedophile way, but in more or less a friend way, she knew the little girl needed some help and she wanted to help more then anything.
