OVERALL PERSONALITY:
When you think of Paul McCartney you think of The Beatles, good music, and how influential he was to our culture, but what's hiden under all that?
Paul is known for being spontaneous, he likes to joke around, and is good at whipping up spontaneous remarks at the perfect time. Just like the rest of his fellow band mates he loves to have fun no matter what he's doing or where he is. His spontaneity has earned Paul more then a few reprimands, but a little scolding cant stop Paul McCartney.
Along with spontaneity usually comes charisma, social tendencies, and upbeat personality, it certainly does with Paul. He can usually be found with a bright smile on his face or flirting with a bird. Paul is content with flirting with just about any girl he can find, fan or not, also earning him the title of the romantic one of the four. And he is never afraid to talk to anyone
Paul may seem like happy care free guy but there is a side of him that he would never show the cameras. Underneath his mask is a more serious side that can be a bit bossy and quick to anger. Only those closest to him see this side, he wwouldn't want to ruin his reputation now, would he?
Some of that serious side comes from his past, maybe when his mother died leaving Paul, his father, and Michael to care for themselves. Paul had to step up as well as grow up to take on more responsibilities after his mother past. Another reason for his serious side could come from his dedication, not just to music but to everything in life. Paul just can't stop working until he's 110% satisfied

► HISTORY: "I grew up in Liverpool, that’s in the UK for those who don’t know, where I met George Harrison. I was born June 18th 1942, which would make me 22. My parents are Jim and Mary McCartney, I also have a younger brother Michael. When I was younger my mother died of cancer and left me, Michael, and my dad to fend for ourselves with the house work. I was very depressed at this time in my life, but I met John Lennon who had a similar story. I got threw this time with music, my father had always encouraged my brother and I to be musical and he bought me a trumpet. Later I traded the trumpet in for a six string and started writing songs. I never cared much for music lessons but I learned to play piano and my guitar by ear anyway.
When I first met Lennon and his band in '57 I became interested in joining a band, and naturally wanted to prove myself to them. I played guitar for Lennon and he was quickly impressed, later in October of that year he invited me to join the Quarrymen. Of course I joined, who wouldnt this was big for me. Now I knew for sure I was good at guitar and music, at least good enough for Lennon.
After more then a few name changes and band members later we decided on "The Beatles". As The Beatles we were booked to perform in Hamberg where we stayed from 2 years after to perform in local clubs. During this time one of our members left so I reluctantly became the bass player. In Hamburg we also published our "first song", it was really just us backing for a fellow called Tony Sheridan. However it did get us some attention from our next manager, Brian Epstein.
Last year Eppy got us a contract with Parlophone, and recently we replaced Best with Ringo Starr on the drums. I think were really starting to get somewhere I can feel it in my bones. Well time can only tell, see ya at the top, love!"

► ROLE-PLAY EXAMPLE:
“You say goodbye and I say hello. Hello, hello I don't know why you say goodbye I say hello. Hello Hela, heba helloa”
Paul motioned to the rest of the band to follow his lead as he started singing random hellos and hebas hoping the rest of the boy would get his clue. This was completely improvising and they all knew it, he got a weird what are we doing look from George. He didn’t dare look at John, Paul knew he absolutely hated the song. Earlier he’d said it was “three minutes of contradictions and meaningless juxtapositions”. It wasn’t terrible in Paul’s opinion after all it was just a last minute idea that had come to him when he was demonstrating to a friend how he wrote lyrics. His friend had asked how Paul worked and Paul had simply told his friend to sing the opposite of whatever Paul sang. Somehow this song came to be after that. The song did a have meaning to it, even if no one else seemed to get it. In fact the meaning was quite obvious. The answer to everything is simple. It's a song about everything and nothing. If you have black you have to have white. That's the amazing thing about life, was the best way to sum it up.
After about twenty seconds Paul mouthed fade out to his fellow band members, this part was actually planned and the song ended smoothly with Paul loudly strumming the last note on his bass guitar as he sang the last helloa. The sound coming from the amplifiers and microphones stopped a moment later and the man on the other side of the recording booth pressed a button to stop recording. “Very nice lads, I think we should call it quits for today.” Paul nodded in agreement not even bothering to talk into his microphone.
He followed George and Ringo out of the booth both looking like they were up to something. Paul rolled his eyes at them, they were probably going to sneak out and go to a pub or hook up with some birds. All of The Beatles were fun loving thrill seekers, they loved sneaking out after a concert to party, the only problem was getting mobbed my crazy fans. Most of the time that was great fun in itself but having a normal night without signing autographs once in awhile was nice too. Tonight Paul wasn’t in the mood for partying hard, or getting a girl to spend the night with.
He noticed that John hadn’t left the booth yet, so Paul wandered back in curious to see what John was up to. “Whacha doin mate?” he asked. Poking at the keys on the piano John was sitting at, and making obnoxiously loud plunking sounds when he hit the keys. “So ya like the song any bette’ now?” Paul was being cautious not to hit a nerve, the last thing he wanted was fight, he just wanted to hang around with his best friend. Paul had noticed that were was a little more tension between them than usual lately, and he didn’t like it. Maybe they were finally growing up, yeah right like that would ever happen. Who knew, Paul didn’t want to make that the topic of conversation so he didn’t bring it up.
Paul stopped poking at the piano and grabbed John’s guitar and started playing around with chords trying to follow whatever John was doing on the piano. “Oh don’t mind if I borrow this do you?” Paul asked after he picked it up laughing a little. He was sure is friend wouldn’t care as long as he didn’t break it, but he asked any way.
