So this was London? She sighed as she leaned agaisnt a wall, inhaling the sweet toxin of her cig, she smiled softly exhaling the smoke, she was dressed in all white, White t-shirt and Skinny jeans. She smiled shaking her hair out as she looked over at the streets. She smiled ever so softly as the realization dawned on her. "..Well im lost...." She said with a laugh as she pushed off the wall tossing the finished cigarette into a puddle. She pulled another from the pack and grabbed the lighter from her pocket. She lit up as she took another long drag. So where was she in her mind now. it was about three pm. She had to be at her concert by Ten. that gave her seven hours to find her way back. She groaned as she looked around. "..Just....Great." She said glaring out to the street. She began to just walk, she was looking around so much she didnt even notice the corner of a building as she ran straight into it. She held her nose as she just stared at the wall from the ground. She cursed at herself once more as she stood up rubbing the small cut she had gotten. Why did they have to book her first tour here, of all places. Not that this wasnt a fine Place, she just didnt know her way around it, and that pissed her off, so so very greatly. [/center]

She stuck out like a sore thumb, and he couldn't help but observe her from where he stood. It was clear by the look on her face she was not from around here. Another tourist, he thought with a slow sigh. At least though, she had a light. Now, he just needed to wait for the traffic light to change so he could get to her... Thankfully, he was not waiting long.
He was a taller man, with dirty blond hair and captivating blue eyes. The black wool coat that he wore covered his shirt, and came down to his thighs. The collar was rolled, to block out the chill on the wind. His jeans were clean, and a dark wash in colour. Completing the look, were a pair of sneakers. Not exactly clothing one would expect a man of his profession to wear. Tamis had learned though, people are more likely to talk to him if he looks like he belongs.
He outward winced as she collided with a building's wall, and shook his head to her typical tourist behavior. Very impressive. Surely she could have seen something so large coming at her? Now only a few steps behind her, he cleared his throat to see if he could get her attention, before speaking out to her. They seemed to be alone on this small section of street, so he did not have to speak very loud. Tamis had a voice that carried well.
"Excuse me, got a light?"
His British accent was unmistakable on every word, marking him as being one of the locals. As though to prove his point, he patted down the pockets of his jacket, a light smile on his lips. "I seem to have left mine at home this morning."

Nikki looked over to the source of the voice as she kept her hand on her nose. She for a moment drew a blank, the man was quite attractive. She lost her voice for a brief moment. "...I...er...Yeah...I...do.." She said as she blushed a small bit from her own idiocy. she took her lighter from her pocket and offered it to the man. She decided now was a good time as any to try to figure out exactly where she was. She looked up at him and gave a small smile. "..So er...Exactly what part of Town am I in?" She asked with a slight laugh.
She probably sounded like a complete idiot. she looked at the ground and then at him. "..im supposed to be playing a concert tonight, only trouble is I sorta went to expolre and now i have no clue where my hotel is..."[/color[ She said as she took another drag of her cig. She let the smoke out next to her as she looked at the man slightly praying to a non existant god that he knew where they were.
"Sounds stupid eh?" She asked rubbing the back of her head.

"Thank you." Tamis accepted the light, making quick work to put a lit smoke between his lips before handing it back to the girl. "Very much appreciated, mate."
He was careful and cautious to keep the smoke from her face as he exhaled. It was his dirty little habit, he didn't need to share it with anyone.
"..I'm supposed to be playing a concert tonight, only trouble is I sorta went to explore and now i have no clue where my hotel is..."
Yup, definitely a tourist. "London can be a bit confusing to a first time traveler... What hotel are you trying to get back to?"

She smiled at him and thought for a brief moment. What the hell was the hotel called again. She sighed as she tossed her cig to the gorund and snuffed it with her heel She groaned as she realized she coudlnt remember the exact place. She sighed as she looked at the man thinking hard, she didnt feel like looking like an idiot today, again. she let her hand fall from her injured nose as she thought long and hard. Marion ? Marlin? Marriot! That was it. She laughed. slightly to herself " The Marriot....Sorry it took forever to think fo the name"
She said softly as she realized she was a good bit away from the place, she just didnt know exactly how far. She smiled up art the attractive man. "..Oh...Uh. What Exactly is Your name?" She asked with a small laugh as she held out her hand."..My Names Nikki Z. Necrosis...Singer and guitarist for Black Veil Brides." She said introducing herself as she would in a business discussion, she wanted to be very proper today. She had no clue exactly who this man was, safer that way.
She smiled ever so lightly at him as she realized she was probably acting like a dork, she after a few moments shoved her hands in her pockets as she looked around, she liked the looks of this place, maybe not a bad place to retire to if she ever quit the band, No Romania was her home in a way, she would go there. She smiled back at the man as she tapped her foot on the concrete beneath them as she yawned ever so softly really unsure of what to say now at the very exact moment.

"The Marriot?" He repeated, a light chuckle falling from his lips. "You're a long way from home then..." Tamis figured she was a smart enough woman to understand the double meaning behind his words. Then again... she had earlier walked straight into a wall...
"Thankfully for you, getting back there won't be too hard." There it was again, that whisper of a smile at the corners of his mouth, that seemed to brighten his features and put a twinkle into his eye. "What you need to do, is head up this road right here, until you get to the red box. Make a left at the lights there, and keep going until you see Lloyd's Bank. If you pass Woolworth's store, you've gone too far. You'll have to boot back a bit." As he spoke, he gestured with his hands, the ember of the lit fag between his fingers trailing behind a glimpse of red with every action."At Lloyd's make another left, and you should be able to see the sign for your hotel. I'm sure from there you'll find your way just fine."
One last drag, and he too was crushing it beneath his heel against the walk, then tucking his hands back into the pockets of his longer black coat.
"..Oh...Uh. What Exactly is Your name?" ... "..My Names Nikki Z. Necrosis...Singer and guitarist for Black Veil Brides."
Though he had not heard of the band name, he shook her hand warmly; his fingers long and oddly slender for a male. Upon his right, middle finger he wore a simple gold back, the metal cool against her skin. "Pleasure. Name's Devish... Or Tamis Devish, if you prefer."
Tucking his hand back into his pocket, he could not help but watch her actions. Her smile seemed hollow, as though there were something behind it, much deeper, that she were keeping back. In silent thought he tipped his head a moment to her, before exhaling a slow, steady sigh.
"You're not from around here, are you?"

She couldnt help but notice his smile, it was quite enchanting. She for a moment, actually blanked out, thankfully it was between his words. She nodded softly trying to remember the directions, going through them three times in her mind she nodded. She bit her lip softly as she honestly didnt really want to leave him, she could use a person to talk to, considering for most of her life she just played music, never really dated or bothered with friends. She got the double meaning as she actually felt a small bit out of place. She nodded lightly.
"..Well, I guess so...My home is actually Bucharest, Romania, but I lived in America for a short bit...This is my first time to London...I like it here." She said softly as she looked at him, trying to assess exactly what type of person he was. She liked the way he spoke, he was smart, not an idiot like most people she knew. She decided to try and drag out the conversation.
"..Well, Devlish....What exactly do you do for a living...?" She asked, figuring that it would be nice to sit back and listen about soemone elses life, a rare chance she could get. she smiled once more, granted yes it was hollow, she was taught that a smile makes friends faster then a stone face.
She never really understood the point of friends, but figured why the hell not make a few, could come in handy.

One eyebrow raised in silent surprise as Nikki spoke of her home. She was a long way from home. In an odd way of showing appreciation, he let a soft, low whistle fall between his pursed lips.
"So then, what brought you to London? I mean, it's not often to see Americans in these parts." Then again, she was not the first that he'd met. There'd been the one from the hotel too... The brash, untamed woman that spoke as she pleased and drank like a fish... The frown flickered over his lips, and did not last long. She would be good thought for another time.
Footsteps on the walk announced the company of another, and politely Tamis stepped towards Nikki to allow the stranger to pass. Walkways in London were as narrow as the city's streets. His body was warm, and could be felt even through the coat he wore. When the other had passed, Tamis stepped back, not wanting to stand in the woman's space for very long.
"I'll admit, it takes some getting used to. Not everyone around here is as friendly as they should be... And we don't exactly have the best laid out city as you may have noticed..." Another chuckle - No, more of a low rumble from his chest. "Once you get used to it though, it's a great place to call home."
Oh, Tamis would not have moved for love, nor money. He was a born and raised London boy, and loved it with every cell of his very being. Tipping his head back slightly, he lifted his eyes to the skyline above, exhaling another soft sigh.
"..Well, Devlish....What exactly do you do for a living...?"
"Hmm, me?" Tamis was not used to hearing his last name in place of his given name, and he quickly brought his gaze back to hers. "I'm a journalist, for the Daily Telegraph actually." That smile bloomed a bit move over his features. "I know, not exactly the most racy and high paced job. But it works for me, and pays the bills."

Nikki wouldnt be rude, but she was a freak about contact, She felt him get even the slightest close to her, she backed up agaisnt the wall, to make it look as if she wasnt jsut being the typical odd ball, she leaned agaisnt it even after he backed up. "..Well I'm having my first concert tonight, my handler decided, hell why not London?"
She said with a small laugh and a real, genuine happy smile playing at the corners of her lips. She wasnt used to interaction like this. She decided to be bold, She moved a slight bit closer to him, not pressing herself up agaisnt the wall. She noticed the smile that played on his face finally. He had a beautiful one, she had to make a comment on it. "..You have quite a nice smile..." She said softly. She smiled at him and shook her head."..I dunno...I think I would probably trade in the music career for your job...It sounds fun." She said as she looked up at him finally realizing how small she was. She shrugged the fact off as she looked to the ground
She yawned ever so slightly, not from being tired or bored, she just had a habbit of doing it at the most odd of times. She looked at Tamis once more before she smiled ever so softly. ".So, where are you headed for?" She asked fully realizing she didnt have to go straight to her hotel. Sure her band would be ticked off, but her style was being late. She couldnt help but actually crack another small smile. Boy, the trouble she would be in with Zippy, she actually coudlnt wait for it.

"..Well I'm having my first concert tonight, my handler decided, hell why not London?"
Yup, because that made loads of sense...
He bit his tongue, and kept his comment to himself. That was show business for you... It was most likely that she didn't have a choice where she played. Raising his hand, he rubbed at the back of his neck a moment, before clearing his throat - As though he were trying to break the silence that had fallen between them. "So what type of music does Black Veil Brides play?" Perhaps it was a wasted question. If it wasn't jazz, Tamis had little use for it. But he suspected that as long as he could keep her talking, she may be more inclined to relax.
His blush was obvious, creeping quickly over his nose and cheeks at her compliment to his smile. It was not something Tamis was used to hearing. No, it wasn't that he didn't smile. It was more that he didn't smile unless he had something to smile about. War times were hardly times for smiles and laughter. He bowed his head, those hands finding a home once again into the pockets of his black wool coat. "Thank you." His voice carried well to the sidewalk beneath his feet, and it took a long moment before he was lifting his eyes back to hers again. "Then may I inquire as to why you're in the music profession - If you do not seem to care for it?"
He meant no disrespect to her, nor did he mean to pry. By nature, he was a curious man. Perhaps why he'd done as well in his job as he had. Common sense told him though, that if someone did not like what they were doing, why keep doing it?
Seeing her smile surprised him, and actually caught Tamis off guard a bit. It probably was the first one that he'd seen on the woman. A hand slipped from his pocket to brush some hair from his eyes, and he could not hold back the chuckle that fell from his lips. This time, a purr rather then a rumble. "It takes having a great smile to notice another's."
"So, where are you headed for?"
"My favorite place to spend an afternoon." The response was so quick, that one might have thought he'd practiced it, or been anticipating the question. "For a cup of coffee, and to flip through the best of the best in tunes." His head tipped slightly to the woman, a twinkle flashing through those orbs of blue. "Why?"

Nikki smiled softly and nodded. She actually felt her handler to be a complete idiot, but he knew how to get her a show. She then got the age old question. "..Well, It dosent have a name yet. Were a new type of music....Imagine Rebellion, fast guitars and drums, loud, like rock almost but, much much harder.." She said softly as she smiled. She actully didnt much think people would care for her music. But she had a reason to do it, and he actually asked.
She smiled softly and actually laughed a small bit " Well...Because i want to make a mark on the world, Imagine, most people die without a memory, but I dont want that, I want to inspire people..." She said as she lightly rubbed the back of her hand. She smiled at him and shrugged. "..Stupid I know...." She said with a slight laugh. She then actually thought a few moments.
"..Well., I wanted to know what Im keeping you from." She asked softly with a smile as she looked up at the sky. Her eyes glistening in the light.
OOC:....MY Muse died, im sorry.

Perhaps for the first time in this conversation, Tamis actually found himself blinking in surprise. Like rock, but much more harder? Did that mean there was something worse out there then Elvis, and The Beach Boys? He tried to keep the surprise and confusion from his face. Once again... If it wasn't jazz Tamis was lost. Maybe Ellen would know more? Yes... She seemed to be much more in tune to today's music. Then again, she had no choice but to be.
"Sounds interesting. No, he wasn't lying. Something new, something fresh was always interesting. And, it gave them something else to talk about. Perhaps it was just him, but it seemed like Nikki actually wanted to be standing here, talking to him. "How did you get started in something like that?"
A wise person had once told him, inspiration is the key to all creativity. No matter how original someone thought they were, or their ideas for that matter - Somewhere along the line someone or something had inspired them. Where the young people of today obtained their inspiration had always fascinated him. Especially when it came down to music.
Her laughter told him she was loosening up to him. Dare he even think, relaxing? It was a thought that he was not sure how he felt about. Typically, women were people who reminded him of his mother. At least, that's how it had once been. As Tamis quotes fairly often, the times are changing. Stepping off your doorstep, the world could easily whisk you away if you let it. Call it a sign of the times if you will, but Tamis was starting to find himself getting caught up in what was going on. Which, in a round-about way, was making him start to see there were more women in this world, then his own mother.
"..Stupid I know...."
"No," He answered quickly, with a shake of his head. "It's not stupid at all.I think it's something that you really care about, and means a lot to you." Perhaps had it been anyone else standing here as such, the conversation may have turned awkward. Yet the smirk on Tamis' face, and the small twinkle in his eye showed that he was being light. "Nowadays, not enough people stop to think about what's important to them.
"..Well., I wanted to know what I'm keeping you from."
"Keeping me from? Hardly. Trust me Dear, if I didn't want to stand here with you, I wouldn't."
