► OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Will is a nice enough guy to those he thinks are decent enough to be treated kindly. He's ambitious, hard-working, and rarely takes 'no' as an answer. He tries his hardest to take a carefree attitude towards life, instead of worrying about all of the little things that might stress him out. You can count on Will to be Mr. Cheerful--the optimistic one that people wonder about because nothing ever seems to bring them down. On the other side, Will is very stubborn and oftentimes doesn't know when to shut up. He's not afraid to speak his mind on just about any topic, which can often lead him into getting into trouble with those who don't agree with him. The only thing he's managed to stay mum about his entire life is his sexuality, since homosexuality is about ten years away from no longer being considered a psychological problem.

► HOMETOWN: London, England, UK
► CURRENT RESIDENCE: Still lives in London
► FAMILY: Father-Geoffrey Edelman, 57, lawyer; Mother-Sarah Edelman, 55, unemployed
► HISTORY:
Will was born in London twenty-eight years ago to Geoffrey (a lawyer) and Sarah (unemployed) Edelman. He is their only child. His father's job guaranteed that money wasn't ever a big problem in the Edelman household, and Sarah had no problems with spoiling her only son. Everything in his first decade of life was as normal as could be. It was when Will was a young teenager that he realized he was gay.
All of his friends would talk about how pretty this or that girl was. Will would simply nod his head in agreement, although he had no idea what they were talking about because he was looking at other guys instead. He spent the rest of his years at home debating whether or not he should tell his parents about his sexuality but he could never bring himself to do it and still can't. He's been in the odd relationship here and there but they've all ended in failure either because of the fact that the relationship had to remain a secret from everyone or because his boyfriend at the time wanted him to come out to his parents.
To forget about that big problem, Will delved into doing his best at school. English was always his favorite subject and from the first Shakespeare play he read in school (Romeo and Juliet) he fell in love with the Bard's works. Will knew that anything he could ever write could never compare to Shakespeare's magnificent work and he had such a great appreciation for those works that Will decided to go into acting.
He currently lives in his own little apartment in London but rarely finds himself staying there because he's a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company so he finds himself traveling around the United Kingdom a lot.

► ROLE-PLAY EXAMPLE:
As if learning that the Doctor was here in Pandora with him wasn't bad enough, the Master had recently had an encounter with one of his human companions...Human pets was more like it; they were like loyal dogs always following the Doctor around, even if they might not know exactly why they were following him around. There was no way the Master could have ever envisioned one of his best friends while they were growing up on Gallifrey becoming the savior of human beings. It was simply ludicrous!
When the Master had first been pulled into Pandora he had thought that he had finally left the only other Time Lord in existence behind for good--that whatever he had planned to do in his new home wouldn't be able to be stopped by anyone. But, no, his adversary had to be here as well. It wasn't fair; it wasn't right. Wasn't it the Master's turn to gain some crowning victory? Wasn't it his turn to let the Doctor know that he couldn't win all of the time? Wasn't it time to make the Doctor even humbler than he already was? Yes to all of the above.
However, the Master knew that this time around he was going to have to think things through very carefully; he didn't want to leave any contingencies unplanned for because that always ended up being his downfall. With all of the extra thinking involved this time around, the Master knew that he couldn't do everything all by himself. He was going to have to start searching around for some minions. And he knew that that was going to be a rather hard task to accomplish because most of the inhabitants of Pandora seemed to still be wandering around in a daze, more concerned with trying to figure out what had happened to them than to live in the moment and help the Master take over this new world.
He wished he could do it all alone but teamwork was going to get more accomplished in a shorter amount of time. The Master only needed to listen to conversations in passing to know that some nasty people liked to hang out at a children's playground, oddly enough devoid of all children. That place then would be as good as any other to start his search. The Master walked along the streets of Pandora with nothing to keep him company expect the drumbeat in his head...One...two...three...four...One...two...three...four. He found himself unconsciously tapping the pattern against his upper leg as he walked along.
That drumming had been with him ever since he looked into the Untempered Schism at eight-years-old...That was the night the Master had gone insane. Some Time Lords, like the Doctor, ran away after that initiation ceremony...Some could stand looking at all of time and space before their eyes...A few went crazy. There was no way to predict any one reaction from the young Gallifreyians. The drumming was the one thing that the Master could almost guarantee to be constant in his life. He just wished that someone else could hear it--that he had some kind of validation that he wasn't simply imagining it...Odd in a good way for the Master, hopefully.
Ah! The playground was slowly coming into sight...but what was this? It looked like things were moving, like there were invisible children playing around. And then the Master's eyes saw the naked figure of a young woman on a swing and a group of men standing in front of her. The Master could have been a gentleman and gone over there to make sure everything was all right but, instead, he staid a safe distance behind to watch whatever events were to come unfold...like hell he was going to help some human woman from a group of human men. Humans were the greatest monsters of them all, after all and, more often than not, they directed their monstrous sides towards other human beings. That was the way Earth worked, and the Doctor didn't seem to be able to understand that.
The Master watched the carnage ensue, as the men apparently saw things on their skin or felt things crawling underneath that they were desperately trying to get rid of. It obviously couldn't be any kind of hallucinogenic drug because they had been fine just seconds before, and all the while the woman on the swing seemed to be calm, cool, and collected...almost like she was the one causing all of this. The Master's eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the last throes of the men before they were all deceased. And then every piece of equipment on the playground seemed to come to a standstill. Very odd, indeed.
He approached, albeit cautiously, the woman on the swing, making sure to avoid stepping in any of the numerous puddles of blood surrounding the area. She didn't seem to see him standing there, so the Master clapped a few times, if only to get her attention. "Bravo!" he said, letting a small grin cross his face. "That was simply...brilliant." Not the brilliancy full of wit and cleverness that he and the Doctor possessed; it was more of an instinctive nature brilliancy, like she had just been doing what she thought she needed to do to defend herself.
"Act Naturally!"
