The year is 1963 and big things are happening all over the world particularly in England and in the United States. Not only does the population have the growing escalation of the Vietnam War (something not everyone agrees with) but Beatlemania is also making its way over the soundwaves.
The Beatles score their first big success with their recording of "I Want to Hold Your Hand." The "Fab Four" includes songwriters John Lennon, 22, and Paul McCartney, 20, who are supported by George Harrison, 20, and drummer Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey), 24, who has succeeded the original Beatles drummer, Peter Best. But will their long hair and music raise rock to new heights of artistry and popular appeal? Or will the likes of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, or the washed up Elvis take over?
Meanwhile so many people are trying to Take A Sad Song and Make It Better...
