[elvisaaronpresley] [and so, this story goes] So, here's some famous dude named Elvis, and, if you haven't heard of him before, then you probably don't live on Earth. He's currently twenty-eight. His career as a singer began in the early '50's but it wasn't until the mid-'50's that he started to become a serious hit with the general public. His manger (Colonel Tom Parker) now, however, has the King focusing on making a whole lot of movies, which normally would be fine because Elvis can throw in new songs into them...but this time around his music is suffering because his manager wants him to focus on the movies rather than the music. Elvis kind of wants a break from it all. Yes, he loves entertaining people but he doesn't want his music to suffer because of it.
The King is a very humble man; he doesn't consider himself better than any other person on the planet just because he's famous. He's always willing to sign a piece of paper or get a picture with a fan because he knows how happy it will make them. He lives very much in the present, instead of planning for the future. And, instead of always wanting to have things his way, he likes to get advice and opinions from numerous people before jumping into anything. Rarely does he lose his temper, and Elvis has a healthy sense of humor. Mishap during a live performance? No problem! It's a simple matter of joking about it and moving on. And he has a generous heart and hates to see people suffer.
Some of his interests include gospel music, rough sports (especially football...American football, that is), reading, poetry, horses, motorcycles, amusement parks, and philosophy. He doesn't like the crazy movie-making schedule his manager has him on, fish, people who aren't themselves, tabloids, and bullies.
[friends] As long as you're not a big bully, I don't see why you can't get along with the King. He's the kind of friend who'd be there to cheer you up when you're feeling down or just generally help you out with whatever you may need. And, seriously, who wouldn't want to try and become friends with the King?
[enemies]
In general, all of those mean people out there. Elvis respects other peoples' feelings so if your character doesn't he'll probably end up having a problem with them. Like I mentioned, he rarely loses his temper so I think 'enemy' is too strong a word. He'll just dislike you. [lovers]
He is currently seeing Priscilla, who is ten years his junior. She currently lives in Graceland with Elvis but this is '63, three years before he even proposed to her. And she's stuck in Tennessee, while Elvis is traveling around...However, I don't see him cheating on her at all. Like I said, he respects other peoples' feelings because cheating on her would completely devastate her and that's the last thing he'd want. Plus, her parents were okay with them living together only if Elvis promised to marry her. But don't let any of that stop you from wanting to flirt with him or whatever...He won't be all that receptive to it but go right ahead! [current relationships]
None yet.

Brian here might be of some help. Perhaps he can be the one that set up a hang out for both Elvis and Paul. Exposure and all of that wonderfulness. Having the young new up and comers (especially one of the front men) paling around with the American King of Rock would do wonders. So if you need an explanation of how that would happen that might be best.

Too lazy to change accounts...
Elvis & Brian--That would be fantastic if Brian could arrange it...That way the King can give his manager a legit excuse for having to take a break in movie-making for a little bit and go overseas. And Elvis loves to help others out so he'd have no problem with being used to boost the Beatles' fame.

'Ciss I suppose it's already pretty obvious about their relationship with each other. But there's always room for more! And it is '63, Elvis is all over, and of course he's gonna be filming with all those pretty starlets of the decade. But hey, she's living at Graceland, there's a lot that could go on between them. There's so much that we could do with these characters. (Not to mention Ciss is just coming into adulthood, she may want to adventure!)

Elvis & Priscilla--There is definitely a lot we can do with these two!!! We can definitely have the King take a break from his crazy movie-making schedule and come back to Graceland for a few days to start things off. As for something more specific, I think I'd have to ponder that. A plot is in the works where Elvis will be going to England to meet the Beatles. I'm sure he'd drag Ciss along with him and, if we want drama, she could become enamored with one of the four of them (whether it's a mutual feeling on the part of whichever Beatles member doesn't matter)...And I'm just kind of rambling right now so I'll stop.

NOAH && ELVIS Perhaps Elvis could be booked for an interview on Noah's show and the two end up buddies? Noah's pretty easy going and gets along with most people so it's easy to imagine these two getting along. Even though Noah lives a pretty wild life (drugs, sex, rock 'n' roll all the time) he and Elvis can hang when he's not doing something stupid. Just one of the guys sort of thing. What do you think?

JOHN & MISTER KING SIR
Like the rest of the Beats, John is infatuated with mister Elvis Presley. I think he'd get a kick out of him and be completely supportive of his career. John would be the kind to pester him about writing and playing more. he loves Elvis's early stuff to death <33
Plus, John is like a kid in a candy shop with this one~ POINTERS. WHAT CAN YOU TEACH LITTLE JOHNNY BOY, MISTER PRESLEY SIR? WONT YOU PLAY US SOMETHING SPECIAL?

Elvis & Priscilla--If you want, I'll get up a thread tomorrow for these two at Graceland. It could be a surprise visit that she has no idea about, and we can just take things from there. <3
Elvis & Noah--Definitely! Elvis wouldn't mind the interview and wouldn't mind becoming friends with another famous Englishman...and sorry that I basically just repeated what you said. I don't know why but my brain isn't functioning all that properly right now. hahaha
Elvis & John--Well, since Elvis didn't write any of his own songs, although he did sometimes add bits and pieces for just enough to receive a song-writing credit on a tune, he'd probably just turn the tables and John and be all 'how about you write me a song.' Because how awesome would writing a song for the King be? Oh, these two will be fun together! They both have a sense of humor but John's is definitely more...out there, I guess.

JOHN & MISTER KING SIR
Oh, yes, but little Johnny child here don't know that bit. :3 I think he'd be a bit disapointed at that information. But he's strong, he'll get over it xD Which might drive him to write more of his own stuff. Plus, writing a song for Elvis would strike his interest big time. He'd have a blast with it.
Sometime later, we'll have to get a Beatle x Elvis thread :D

Elvis & John--And John's disappointment might make Elvis start thinking about actually doing it. =) Of course, with his movie-making right now, he'd be hard pressed to find time to sit down and come up with something brilliant. That thread shall be happening sooner hopefully rather than later, since every character needed for it is taken.

I feel painfully obligated to plot with the King. I mean, seriously, even Bob Dylan himself admitted that if it weren't for Elvis (and Woodie Guthrie, of course) he wouldn't even be a musician. Naturally, these two have to have some kind of connection.
I'm thinking they meet through John or something to the likeness of that. In a super chill environment, maybe a hotel room after a gig. After 'party' type of deal. Dylan is immediately overwhelmed with excitement over the fact of meeting such a prominent childhood hero and babbles on and on.
"Man, that's the KING, man! Legendary, Elvis Presley, man, this is unbelievable. Absolutely groovy, man, very very groovy." Fill in other iconic Dylan phrases here.
Anyway, I don't see them becoming the best of friends and whatnot, but I think Dylan would definitely want to pick his brain endlessly. Our own little Bobby's been starstruck, aawwww.

Elvis & Bob--Oh boy...With their somewhat vastly different personalities you're right about them not becoming the best of friends. Because Elvis is so humble and doesn't like to be treated differently just because he's famous, he'll definitely be a bit taken aback by Dylan, a star in his own right, being all starstruck over him. But, of course, since Elvis is very gracious to all of his fans, he would end up being more than willing to answer any questions Dylan has for me and all of that fun stuff!
