"They won't." Epstein replied shortly and his unwaivering voice showed he was too calm with that fact. "They leave the arranging of those sort of things to me give or take the occasional time or two where Paul exerts himself to play business man." Brian adored Paul. He saw a bit of himself in the young pretty boy (other than the pretty part) but Paul was a perfectionist, much like Brian, and often tried to take on too much, much like Brian. However, unlike Brian he didn't have the ground or know how. And while he was stubborn he was far less likely to win his point against another stubborn voice because he wouldn't drop his defense act. That attitude would get Macca into trouble one day Brian was sure of it.
Now Noah was in his space, something Brian was definitely not pleased with and his face showed it. His eyes practically shot daggers at the man though he didn't budge an inch at first. Making a move would imply that Noah was 'winning' in some pretend battle they were having and Brian simply couldn't have that. Like Noah Brian was stubborn. He wasn't about to back down either. Losing was not an option. If it was Brian would not be the man that he was today. Was that a good or bad thing, he wasn't sure. But he wasn't about to admit the negative.
The manager could hear Noah behind him however he certainly didn't expect what happened next. Noah reached out and roughly yanked, or was it pushed?, him right against the closed door. Now Brian was irked for a number of reasons. One, he had been prevented from leaving. Two, he had been touched not to mention SHOVED. Three, Noah had dared to continue a conversation which he wanted not part of. And four, perhaps the most important one, his mate had wrinkled his coat jacket. THIS WOULD NOT DO.
"My counter offer..." He hissed, his eyes cold as they locked on Noah's as if daring him to cross him further. "Is that you take your paws off my jacket right now or I'll be forced to remind you why I do what I do behind closed doors in the first place." Well, this had certainly taken a turn to whatever direction. Brian couldn't tell if he was mad or turned on anymore. But Noah better let go of his jacket. That fact was still true.

Noah almost laughed. Brian was threatening him! Ha! That was real good. Even stoned Noah had the feeling he could take on Brian Epstein if it got to that. But Brian's words made Noah pause. Behind closed doors? Screw his mates and then what, leave 'em high and dry? Or the playing rough part? Either sounded good to Noah. As usual, he was game for just about anything and everything. Noah let go of Brian's jacket and took hold of the tie instead.
There. He wasn't touching the jacket now. He twisted the tie in his fist, pulling it to the side and pressing his fist against the door. A tether, the tie a proper noose now. Like it always had been. Noah wanted to find a pair of sheers and chop the tie off, cut it in half and render it useless. No more tie, no more staunchy business man.
"Wotcha gonna do, Epstein?" Noah whispered, once again invading the manager's personal space. It had to be drugs in his system making him act this way. Normally, Noah wouldn't do this. Normally, he would be trying his absolute best to push someone over the edge. Most of the time, Noah was fine with people being who they were. If he hadn't been buzzed on something, Noah wouldn't have even asked Brian about topping.
But that wasn't the case now. Noah wasn't his normal self. He ached in the good sort of way and had adrenaline pumping through him like a steam engine. Something was laced in that grass, something harder. Noah liked it and hated it. Liked the way it set his nerve endings on fire and made all the blood in his body rush around so quick. Hated the way it made him different and made him want to pick a fight. "Gonna hit me? Don't think you could to be honest," Noah leaned in, pressing the side of his face to Brian's. "Don't think you're man enough to hit me,"

Brian felt comfortable where he stood despite the closeness with the man opposite him. Brian was quite relaxed in the fact that there was nothing else that Noah could dish out to catch him off guard. Brian was certain he truly had the upperhand. What could the radio DJ possibly do to top it?....And Noah, the git, had done it. He had touched the infamous tie. Brian's pride and joy. Screw kids and country that tie was where Brian's passion laid and Noah had gone and sullied it with his dirty fingers and well, Brian knew where they had been. He didn't want that rubbish all over his prized fashion accessory even if he had assisted in the dirty acts himself!
Now Brian wasn't exactly a tough guy. During his schooling years a good portion of his life had been spent on the tar or pavement of the playground area as his younger pudgy self was being taunted for whatever reason. He actually used to be a big, ole softy before life had gotten to him and turned him into the 'successful' man that he was... At least in business. And this was the side that was coming out currently.
He glared. If he could of burnt holes into Noah's face his eyes would have surely done it. Noah had a decent enough hold on the tie to cause Brian to go up on his toes and to have his neck craned rather awkwardly. His back against the door Brian's eyes never once left his 'opponents'. And it was oh so very evident that Brian Epstein was NOT AMUSED. And so would have it, neither was Noah.
"Sue your ass." A bad comeback and a lie at that. Brian did not fight so to speak. Not with fists anyhow. It was beneath him. And at this point he wasn't nearly intoxicated enough with drugs or booze to be pushed outside of his comfort zone in that regard. But that didn't mean that he couldn't be damn pissed off. "You didn't have a problem with me hitting you over there." Brian said coldly nodding toward the bed as best he could, if only just to piss Noah off. Brian had taken full advantage of the man in more ways than one. In Brian's mind he WAS the real man.
"I was plenty man enough with my pecker in you." Yes, that was horribly inappropriate but for god sakes Noah had touched Brian's tie! Was there no justice? There was certainly no God, Brian knew that for a fact. Having distracted Noah long enough Brian reached out and gave the man a light shove, not enough to hurt but enough to get the inebriated DJ off of him.
"Don't you ever touch my bloody tie again." He pointed his finger at the man in warning before turning to the door and opening it.

He was too busy laughing at Brian to notice that Brian wasn't anywhere near amused any more. It had gone from joshing about to serious business and Noah couldn't tell the difference. Or didn't care, he didn't rightly know. Noah pulled back just a smidge, laughing his smoker's laugh at the manager's face. "Never once said that I'd mind you hitting me, mate. Just said you couldn't do it," Brian's first threat didn't matter. Sue him? As if! Noah'd have a counter suite that would beat Brian's into the ground if he tried that. Assault and sodomy. Glorious things they were. Noah liked 'em in the bedroom, not so much out of the bedroom. Anywhere else wasn't right.
The tie slipped from Noah's fingers. Noah's laugh was cut short with Brian's underhanded jibe and the shove. "Yeah, just not man enough to take it," |
[/color] Noah said flalty through a clenched jaw. What a load of bollocks. Just because he could f*** a guy into the mattress didn't make him a man. Noah thought he was the better man by far. He could give, he could take, he did what needed to be done to please others. That's what a man did. Men didn't go around taking just what they wanted. Pigs did that, pigs, thugs, and rapists. Did that make Brian some sort of coercive rapist? Noah never objected to bedding him but Brian always took. Noah wanted to smack Brian's finger down but Brian was too fast. He was opening the door before Noah could get his body to cooperate. Noah's arm shot around the manager, slamming into the door and subsequently slamming it shut. "I'll touch what I bloody well want to touch," To emphasize his point, Noah gave Brian's ass a firm pinch. POST: done ! - TAG: Brian - NOTES: Oh snap! At Noah's comment about not being man enough to take it Brian allowed a smug smile to ooze across his face. It was practically dripping with just how damn proud he was with himself. His eyes locked right onto Noah's in a challenge. "Sounds like the plea of a boy who's desperate to regain some sort of manhood after taking it so many times." His smirk took on a more sinister tone. He was quite aware that he was actually trying to cause more harm here. "So. Many. Times." Brian reached out and for no reason at all other than to piss the man off fixed Noah's hair. "You bloody faggot." Ouch. And ironic at that. But Brian actually believed to some extent that he was less of a homo. It'd hurt his dear ole dad less that way.
Noah then sloppily slammed the door. Brian watched him calmly from where he stood. He just watched. And when he was quite sure that the DJ had done all that he needed to do Brian with ease, given the man's sloppiness and the most recent pinch on his ass, shoved Noah... HARD. "GET OFF OF ME." Yes, Epstein had lost his temper but still, he hadn't punched him had he? But it was hard enough to send him back a good ways.
"As do I." Brian's eyes locked on Noah's person. Then, to add insult to injury, he approached the door opened it. Closed it. Opened it. Closed it. Opened it. Closed it. He repeated it a few more times just to show Noah that he could. Then at last, opening the door fully he stood there, turning to face Noah in further opposition.
"Now you see?" His voice was sickeningly calm as he stood there. He readjusted his coat jacket. Then his tie before once again looking at Noah. "I learned that bit from Johnny." And with that he turned around, calm, cool, and collected... And left the room closing the door with a quiet click.

Noah was practically bubbling over in anger. Brian was such a hypocrite. "Calling me the boy here? I'm the only one who's grown up to see what's really going on. You. Are. A. F***ing. Coward," Noah slapped at Brian's hand that lifted to fix his hair and, in a moment of childish revenge, ran a hand through his hair purposely mussing it again. "Too scared not to be a bleeding dictator every single minute of every single day 'cause you're too scared of what would happen if you did," Noah waved a hand dismissively at Brian, bidding him to leave.
"Calling me the faggot when you're panting after those boys of yours? That's rich," Noah let Brian shove him back, he let him push him away. He was done. Noah flopped onto the bed, face down. He bounced on impact and used the momentum to flip over. He narrowed his eyes at Brian's childish antics, opening and slamming the door repeatedly. Noah sneered at him. "Good for you. Say hi to Johnny boy for me, won't ya?" Noah rolled his eyes and reached for his fags on the nightstand.
Noah lit one up as Brian left softly. Bastard did that sometimes. Cause a big ruckus then slip out like he was King or something. Noah scoffed at the closed door, sucking smoke down like it was air. Next time Brian needed his little fix he was gonna have to get it somewhere else.
He was getting near Noah for a good long while.
